The young instrumentalists Rafael Beck & Felipe Montanaro present the show of their new album “Fantasia Brasil,” featuring a repertoire that includes works by artists such as Djavan, Ivan Lins, Hermeto Pascoal, and Cesar Camargo Mariano.

Rafael Beck is a flutist and composer with a career dedicated to Brazilian popular music. He has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Yamandu Costa, Hermeto Pascoal, and Dominguinhos, among others, and has participated in several prominent festivals in the country, such as Ipatinga Live Jazz and SP Choro in Jazz. Felipe Montanaro is a multi-instrumentalist with the piano as his main instrument. His resume includes performances alongside names like Toninho Ferragutti and Filó Machado, and his influences range from American and European jazz to Brazilian music and classical music.

Released by the acclaimed label Biscoito Fino, the album “Fantasia Brasil” presents the duo’s original arrangements for compositions by great names such as Tom Jobim, Hermeto Pascoal and Jacob do Bandolim, and features Brazilian star Ivan Lins as a special guest.

Rafael Beck & Felipe Montanaro have performed in highly established Brazilian venues and festivals such as Bourbon Street, Blue Note Sao Paulo, Sesc Pinheiros, Bourbon Festival de Paraty and Amantikir Festival.
